You know you want your own flirty flicks

A cute and stylish look, flirty flicks can be achieved with a little know-how. They work on any hair length too - with fabulous results. The look features sleek and sexy, touchable hair with flicked out ends for a look that's simply stunning.

You'll need:

  • Shampoo and conditioner for your hair type
  • Some styling mousse (about the size of a golf ball if you have long hair and roughly the size of a 50c piece for medium length hair)
  • A hairdryer
  • A large barrel brush
  • A hot brush
  • Four hair clips
  • Strong-hold hairspray

The trick to getting flicked out ends at home

Your hair needs to be completely clean and straight to style with flirty flicks. Wash and condition your hair then towel-dry to remove excess moisture. Apply a small amount of mousse onto your palm and work it through your damp hair with your fingertips. You're now ready to start styling.

The first steps to getting your flirty flicks

Divide your hair into four sections and clip each section up. Start at the back of your head and release the first section. Using a large barrel brush and a hair dryer, gently blow dry your hair out and away from your face. Work through your hair styling each section in the same way.

Creating the flicked out ends

Starting at the back of your head, use a hot brush to flick out the ends of your hair, away from your face. Work piece by piece moving towards the front of hair. Spritz with a strong-hold hairspray to keep your new do fresh and fabulous for hours.
