It is possible to look more youthful instantly with these tricks to look younger.
Most older women make the mistake of wearing their hair long. But a few artfully cut layers and a slightly shorter hairstyle can make you look as much as five years younger. It's also a good idea to opt for more rich tones and hair colour to conceal grays.
Tying your hair into a ponytail is the number one trick to looking younger!
It gives your face a quick lift making it appear thinner and concealing a double chin - just like a mini facelift.
Keep crows feet and dark circles at bay with concealer
Minimising fine lines and dark circles around your eyes with concealer will help you look years younger instantly. Because crows feet angle downward, applying concealer to them in a upward motion will help to minimise them. Remember to choose a concealer that applies smoothly so it doesn't fill in the lines, giving a caked in look.
Changing your makeup is also essential if you want to look younger. Gloss is less harsh than lipstick and gives your lips a shiny hit of colour which makes you appear more youthful. It also helps to minimise any fine lines in the lip area as it won't bleed into them. Also say goodbye to dark colours as they tend to make you look older than you are. Opt for pretty neutrals and pinks instead.
Lash up!
As we age we lose lashes due to hormone changes and the aging process. One trick to looking younger is to invest in a thickening, lengthening mascara or even a lash enhancing serum to help your lashes appear thicker and longer. Remember to curl your lashes to give them more oomph.
Lose the powder
Foundation which gives your skin a dewy radiant finish helps to turn back time and make you look more youthful. Unlike powder-based foundation which settles into fine lines making you look older.
Add some blush
Give your face a lift and a subtle glow by apply a sheer peachy or rose coloured blush to the apples of your cheeks. The blush will add some dimension to your face and some colour to your cheeks.
Ditch the black liner
Black eyeliner is too harsh and can age you. Rather opt for softer shades of brown, gray or even green to help you look younger.
